Why Right Attitude matters?
Late Zig Ziglar couldn’t have said this in a much better way, “It’s your attitude, not your aptitude that will determine your altitude.”
Often, we mistake our lost opportunities by thinking that we are not skilled enough that is why we missed that chance. But is that always true?? NO!! Most of the time, it is our mindset or what we can call is our own attitude that comes in the way. As the saying goes, hard work beats talent. So, what is important is how much we are enthusiastic in our approach to learn new things will take us to places rather than grumbling about the same.
Constant complaining about a situation won’t change a single thing about it. But a change in the angles of thinking can definitely bring in more positive results. It is always in our hands whether we accomplish our goals or not. We are the creator of our own success as well as the result of our failures too. Often, we put too much energy in the wrong place and worry about it a lot. But will this worry solve our problems? It’s a definite no. It only leads to additional stress and tension. Our mind is a very unique organ. The way we train it or the way we think about a particular situation, it adapts to it. In simpler words, it can be said that if we think about problems always, we will only find more problems and the simplest solution will evade us. And vice a versa, if we focus on the solutions, we instantly find lots of them no matter how complex the problem is. This is how we grow, rise and shine. This attitude of focusing on the solution rather than worrying about the problems will definitely take us to places and make ourselves stronger in terms of skills, problem-solving as well as pressure handling. And I believe these are some of the areas, which if we master, will help us evolve into a better version of ourselves.
Often, even before trying out a particular thing we reject ourselves. This kind of negative attitude blocks our way to numerous good things. So even we lack the skills to do it now, it is not that we will be lacking that forever. We should take the risk in our life. And some risks are worth everything. So, it is always our attitude towards everything that determines our success and growth. We can be super talented but if our way of viewing everything always surrounded by negativity, that talent and skills start losing its value.
