“I represented Pakistan as Youth Delegate at 72nd United Nations General Assembly and at 20th Session of the Youth Assembly at the United Nations in USA.”
This is Anum Shehzad, currently pursuing her MPHIL in Finance with a research focused primarily on financial inclusion for marginalized communities and serve as Qualitative Data Analyst at Center for Economic Research in Pakistan (CERP), a non-profit research center in Pakistan.
She has numerous community development initiatives, and has volunteered for many non-profit organizations including US Embassy Pakistan, IREX, A World At School, Forman Christian College-

“For me the real empowerment comes through economic empowerment of the marginalized communities, enabling them to further their educational, economic and entrepreneurial potential by providing a financial inclusive environment.”
“There is a dire need of an inclusive and a supportive ecosystem for women that can enable them to lead their dreams. A lot needs to be done to mitigate social and economic marginalization in the society, so that no one is left behind. I am absolutely thrilled to embark this journey with MKR on an issue unaddressed!”
