Life coaching and introspection
Mitti Ke Rang always comes up with some interactive sessions and podcasts with topics that directly or indirectly impact our day-to-day lives. In this session, hosted by Khushi Tiwari we had a conversation with Shilpa Agarwal who is an extremely talented life coach, writer, and trainer and has influenced many lives to date.
The podcast starts with how lockdown has impacted Shilpa’s work. She informs about all the online workshops going on remotely as well as hopes for getting back the normalcy. She gives a detailed explanation of the role of a life coach in people’s lives and a short description of their activities for influencing the lives of the common people. She also discusses how she overcomes her own shortcomings and continues learning and improving self, and her personality for the greater good.
In the next part, she talks about the importance of introspection in impacting today’s life and how efforts of every day become a day-to-day practice for maintaining inner peace out of all the stress and problems of the pandemic. According to her, the best way to listen to one’s intuition is to think in complete silence and to make it an everyday task. She also cites certain practical examples supporting this fact.
At the end of the podcast, she tells about the advice she would give to her 10-year younger self, to believe in and understand herself and appreciate herself for what she was. Also, she tells the difference between working with people of different ages and how she wants to influence the lives of the younger ones.
