This podcast is based on the journey of how Juhi Jeswal established the Essence of living and the host of this podcast is Angela Jacob.
Since her childhood, she has been a good listener to her friends. After completing matriculation in the commerce field, she pursued her career by fulfilling a bachelor’s and masters in psychology.

Currently, she is practicing Reiki healing technique to heal the people. In simpler terms, the Reiki technique is the transfer of the various universal energy to the patient transmitted through the practitioner. In this technique, there are two types, one of which is traditional and uses various symbols, and the other in which there are no symbols and more focus on the technical details. Some of the practitioners use this technique as an alternative to allopathy and homeopathy.

Juhi Jaiswal herself is certified as a professional trainer and meditation coach. The Essence of living is still at the beginning stage and conducting workshops and training based on mental health. The main focus of this unique initiative is to prevent the mental issue rather than cure it.
Heart-based meditation is the technique of getting in touch with your inner self through the concept of a smile. The easiest way to connect between two people is smiling. As per her, this is less about doing and more about being. This technique about the heart chakra, the spiritual heart of our body, and the smile is the only way to get in touch with it.

To practice this method, we have to close our eyes, take a few deep breaths and then start smiling sweetly, freely, and gently for few minutes and then immediately stop smiling and try these steps again a few times a day.
As every job requires a particular skill, life skill is all about being successful in an area that matters most to us. Life is not about having more and more; it’s about appreciating what we have. Any skill which is learnable, speakable, trainable, taught able is known as a life skill.

Even in earlier days WHO mandated most organizations to talk about the life skills to prevent the spread of AIDS in Africa. Once in a lifetime, everyone has faced a mental issue but we tend to ignore it and consider it as a smaller issue. But we are not supposed to do it, especially in this pandemic and lockdown period.
Sharing, surroundings, diet plans, physical fitness, room lighting, ambiance also plays a major role in mental health. In today’s world, everyone is aware of mental health but, no one is asking for help in the same regard. There is no shame in asking for help from professionals, counselors for issues. We all should have understood the line that once we crossed then it’s time to reach out for help.

The Essence of Future is working in the direction to reach out to as many people as they can and help them via meditation workshops, and life skills.
