Project Reading & Generating Curiosity:
The core idea behind this project is to make the children and women at our community center be able to communicate in English. We have regular evening classes where our team members make participants read books in English aloud, to improve their vocabulary and pronunciations.
With this we realised that the students who come to our learning center have ambitions to enter professions such as engineering and medicine. However, correct information and knowledge serve as obstacles. To cater to this, we invite an expert from each field every week to interact with and guide the students on possible career prospects.

Education is truly the privilege of those who have the access and economic resources. Unfortunately, for many it still remains a distant dream, but if given the same opportunities they have it in them to shine equally bright.
“It’s not the Equality , it’s the access to equal Opportunity”
Adding to this Mr. Amol Nitave, visited the Kids at the Mitti Ke Rang Community Centre.
He being a CSR employee in a reputed company, took out some of his precious time to interact with the kids about “The Art of Articulation”.
The kids thoroughly enjoyed a wonderful evening session with him !
“All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy.” Play is a key element in the development of a child. We at MKR, practice this balance to reinforce and provide a platform for creative imaginations.

Reading is fun, however, apart from the books and novels, what makes it more fun is the environment one reads in.
